Hearing Aid Compatibility
At Brazos Cellular,we want to make every effort to provide hearing aid users with the best wireless phone available.
To ensure individuals with hearing impairments can use wireless cell phones, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) updated the Hearing Aid Compatibility Act of 1988 ("HAC Act"), passing regulations to increase the number of hearing aid compatible wireless phones.
The HAC rating or "M-Ratings" and "T-Ratings", help hearing aid customers find the best phone for their needs. Phones with the M3 or M4 Ratings, and T3 or T4 Ratings have met or exceeded the ANSI (American National’s Standard Institute) hearing aid compatibility test and measurement standard as adopted by the FCC and are less likely to experience interference to hearing devices.
To help you find the phone that works best with your hearing aid, we recommend you visit one of Brazos Cellular's retail stores in Olney, Graham or Breckenridge, Texas.
